What is the Pactify Conversations database in Notion?

Pactify <> Notion) with a Pactify Conversations database. Each synced chat becomes a database row with metadata properties plus the full transcript as page blocks. After setup, Pactify addresses columns by stable Notion property IDs—so you can rename columns (including other languages) without breaking Sync. Do not delete template columns or change their types; hide unused ones instead. If you delete a synced conversation page, Sync pauses until you Re-sync, which creates a new Notion page.Steps

Template columns (Conversations)
At first connect, Pactify expects these properties (English template names + types). After your account stores a property map, Sync talks to columns by stable Notion property IDs, not the visible label.

The full conversation body is stored as Notion page blocks under that row (appended on incremental Sync), not as a single “Content” property.

Tip: before the first successful verification, keep the English template names so Pactify can match the schema. After property IDs are saved, renames are safe.
If you delete a synced conversation page
- Header Sync becomes Needs attention.
- Open Sync → read the message at the top: This conversation was deleted from Notion. Re-sync to create a new page. Click Re-sync. The next Sync creates a new Conversations row.
- If the page is only in Notion trash, restore it from trash, turn Sync off for that chat, or Re-sync to create a new page.
- Sidepanel Search is not auto-cleared when the Notion page disappears.
Turning off Auto-Sync never mass-deletes Notion pages. Button states: Sync to Notion · Auto-Sync.
If the whole Conversations database is missing
- Run Connect / Verify Notion again. Pactify checks stored database IDs, then may search by template names under
Pactify <> Notion. - Restore the database from Notion trash or reconnect so a valid Conversations database exists.
- Existing chats may still point at old page IDs until each chat fails, is checked, or you Re-sync per conversation.
Schema damage (deleted column / wrong type)
This is different from “page deleted.” Notion API validation failures surface as database schema problems. Fix by restoring the missing property and type—or hide unused columns instead of deleting them. Prefer rename + hide over delete.
Frequently asked questions
Can I rename the Pactify Conversations properties?
Yes, after setup succeeds. Pactify stores stable property IDs in your sync config, so visible labels can change without breaking Sync. First-time template matching still expects the English template names until property IDs are saved.
What happens if I change or delete a Pactify property?
Deleting a template column, changing a column’s type, or removing the Conversations database entirely. Renaming and hiding columns is fine. Adding extra columns is fine—Pactify ignores columns it does not own.
What happens if I delete a synced chat in Notion?
Sync shows Needs attention. Open Sync and click Re-sync to create a new Conversations page. Sidepanel → Chats on this device is not auto-cleared.
Can Sidepanel tags appear in the Notion Tags property?
Not automatically. The Tags property must exist for schema validation, but conversation Sync does not write Sidepanel tags into it. You can edit Tags manually in Notion.
