How does Pactify Sync work?

In the chat header top-right, controls are Badge → Sync → Export. Click Sync to open Sync to Notion or Sync to Capacities. For a new chat, click Sync & Enable Auto-Sync, or enable Auto-sync all active conversations. Unconnected Sync may show Connect (opens pactify.io/setup). Manage Connection opens Notion OAuth; Capacities uses Destination + token when capacitiesAvailable. Successful Sync indexes Sidepanel Chats (including Saved to this device).
Steps
- Open an active AI chatTop-right Sync must be visible (not share/sites/non-chat routes).
- Click Sync (top-right)In Badge → Sync → Export, click Sync. Dialog: Sync to Notion or Sync to Capacities. Labels also include Syncing, Synced, Paused, Connect.
- Connect destination if neededConnect / Manage Connection for Notion (setup or OAuth window), or Destination → Capacities + Save token when available.
- Sync & Enable Auto-SyncUnder Current Conversation click Sync & Enable Auto-Sync, and/or turn on Auto-sync all active conversations. Confirm in Notion/Capacities and Sidepanel Chats.
Where to click
Top-right of the conversation header, fixed order Badge → Sync → Export. Click Sync. Dialog title: Sync to Notion or Sync to Capacities. The optional full-history control is a toggle inside Sync—it does not change that order.

Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference between Sync to Notion and Export?
Sync maintains conversation pages/objects and feeds Chats. Export is the separate top-right Export button → Export AI Conversation for one-shot files.
Can I sync without connecting Notion?
Yes—local-only still indexes Chats (“Saved to this device”). The full-history toggle on Sync needs a cloud destination.
Do I need to manually sync every time?
No. After setup, Auto-Sync is on by default. Open Sync to turn conversation or global Auto-Sync on or off.
